Self-Employed Personal Assistant – Bodmin – (REC-491)

I am looking for a reliable, caring and flexible Personal Assistant to support me with my morning routine, including getting out of bed, dressing, showering and all aspects of my personal care. I enjoy listening to music, walking my two dogs every day and being involved in my local community, so I’m looking for someone who can support me to continue doing the things I enjoy. I also attend a lot of meetings due to my current role within the town of Bodmin. You will need to be confident using a ceiling hoist, and it would be helpful if you are able to do some driving for me using my wheelchair accessible vehicle (WAV).
Most importantly, I am looking for someone trustworthy, respectful and reliable, who will support my independence and fit in with my lifestyle.

She is a sociable lady who enjoys the company of others, singing and watching her favourite programmes . She likes people who are kind, patient and take the time to let her speak and listen to her. Support should be able to motivate her to make the most of her day and recognise when she needs to spend time resting. Good interaction and observation skills are required. A PA who has experience with dementia and manual handling would be ideal, due to the ladies’ conditions.

I am looking for someone who is patient, flexible, understanding, and able to encourage my independence while adapting their approach to meet my individual needs.
