Description
I am looking for a kind, patient, and compassionate Personal Assistant to support me in my own home. I live with dementia and Alzheimer's disease, and I need help with my personal care, including getting up, showered, dressed, and support during the night when I may become confused and need assistance using the commode. I enjoy flowers and have always loved needlecraft and spending time outdoors. I would also appreciate support with preparing a cooked lunch and helping me maintain a safe, comfortable, and reassuring daily routine while enabling me to remain at home with my husband.
Key responsibilities
General household support (cleaning, laundry, meal preparation)
Support with communication when required
Support with personal care
Reassurance when I feel confused
Essential requirements
Applicants must:
Be self-employed
Hold a full, clean UK driving licence
Hold a current Enhanced DBS
Have public liability insurance
Have a Unique Taxpayer Reference (UTR) from HMRC
Terms:
This role requests a self-employed person to provide services directly to the client. You will be paid by them and not our organisation.
