Description
A warm and determined lady living in the Newquay area is looking for a sociable and experienced Personal Assistant to provide temporary cover. The PA will support her in her day-to-day life, both at home and out in the community.
Despite facing challenges including visual impairment, two strokes, and spinal trauma, she is committed to maintaining her independence and enjoying a full, active lifestyle. You’ll play a key role in enabling her to live life to the fullest, from helping with daily routines to assisting with community outings and family visits. Her family means the world to her, so supporting her in planning get-togethers and maintaining connections will be a meaningful part of your role.
Key responsibilities
Personal Care
Accompanying and assisting in the community
Support with utilities and correspondence
Household domestics
Batch cooking and meal planning
Essential requirements
Relevant Training/Qualifications
Care Experience
Proof of self-employment in the UK, insurance & DBS check
Data Protection and Confidentiality - follows UK GDPR regulations
Full driving licence, access to a 4 door vehicle (no vans or low sports cars) + business cover
