Description
I am a gentleman living with MS. We are a creative, musical household living in the countryside, looking for a friendly and practical Personal Assistant to join us. We both have some mobility challenges, so we’d appreciate support with everyday tasks, cooking, outings and helping to clear and organise our home. We enjoy painting, music and other creative projects, and one of us particularly enjoys swimming. We also have a much-loved old dog, so a love of animals is a bonus! We’re looking for someone relaxed, kind and adaptable who enjoys getting involved and helping make everyday life a little easier and more enjoyable.
Key responsibilities
General household support (cleaning, laundry, meal preparation)
Shopping and errands
Medication support (no administration)
Support with communication when required
Transport and support to access the community
No personal care is required currently but this may change
Essential requirements
Be self-employed
Hold a full, clean UK driving licence
Have access to their own roadworthy vehicle
Hold a current Enhanced DBS
Have public liability insurance
Have a Unique Taxpayer Reference (UTR) from HMRC
