Description
A kind, reliable Personal Assistant is wanted to support a lady living with a learning disability, epilepsy and on the autistic spectrum, to maintain her independence and enjoy activities in her local community. She has a keen eye for making jewellery and has a wide range of hobbies from swimming, dancing and going out with her friends, to volunteering at a local charity shop; so someone who shares some of these interests would be beneficial. Support is required to help with day to day tasks such as shopping, meal preparation, and prompting with personal care needs. She has 24 hour care, including sleep ins.
Key responsibilities
General household support (cleaning, laundry, meal preparation)
Shopping and errands
Support with communication when required
Transport and support to access the community
Prompting with personal care needs
Essential requirements
Hold a full, clean UK driving licence
Hold a current Enhanced DBS
Have relevant experience supporting individuals with disabilities, long-term health conditions, or neurodivergence
