We are looking for a confident, caring, and proactive Personal Assistant to support a young woman who enjoys getting out and about. She loves swimming, going for walks, shopping, and exploring new places, particularly when a car journey is involved.
She is open to trying new activities but may stop if she is not enjoying them, so someone patient and encouraging would be ideal.
Confidence in gently supporting her to try new experiences is important.
She is non-verbal and uses an iPad to support her communication. She has epilepsy and high sensory needs, so a calm and understanding approach is essential. PA must be vigilant and aware of her surroundings to ensure her safety, as she has no sense of danger.
