A friendly young man with autism and a learning disability is seeking a Personal Assistant to provide support both at home and out in the community. He enjoys being active, going for bike rides and walks, and building Lego – especially cars!
This is a rewarding role for someone who is patient, organised and enjoys helping others build independence and confidence in everyday life.

£15.84 Self- Employed / £12.50 Employed
15 hours per week for the first 6 weeks, reducing to 10 hours per week thereafter.
Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays - 1:00pm to 4:00pm.

Key responsibilities
Supporting with money management, budgeting and menu planning
Assisting with shopping and meal preparation
Helping to keep the home tidy, clean and well organised
Encouraging engagement in hobbies and outdoor activities such as walking, cycling and Lego building
Providing support to get out and about in the community
Assisting with forms, paperwork and general daily organisation
Essential requirements
Kindness, patience and clear communication skills
Understanding of autism and learning disabilities
Organised and reliable approach
Full driving licence and access to a car
Eligibility to work in the UK
Proof of self-employment in the UK, insurance & DBS check (if self-employed)
Data Protection and Confidentiality - follows UK GDPR regulations
