An opportunity for a kind, patient and proactive PA has arisen in the St Ives area

A vibrant young woman with a fantastic sense of humour, who loves being active and enjoying life to the fullest (especially milkshakes and more!), is seeking a self-employed Personal Assistant with a passion for activities and the outdoors to provide support that helps her grow in confidence and independence. 

This rewarding role involves supporting her to take part in hobbies, enjoy outdoor adventures, build life skills such as travel training, and develop confidence in daily routines. The ideal person will be patient, understanding, and enthusiastic about encouraging independence in a fun and compassionate way. 

Key job details

St Ives Area

£15.84 per hour

8 hours per week, increasing to 18 in school holidays

Female PA required

Work Schedule

Term time

Thursdays 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm
Plus 6 hours to be used flexibly over weekends

School Holidays

Up to 18 hours per week, to be used flexibly and arranged with the family
Fridays 12 pm-4 pm definitely included

Key responsibilities

Providing patient, respectful and encouraging support

Assisting with community activities, hobbies and social engagement

Supporting with travel training and building independence

Helping to create and maintain positive daily routines

Offering friendly companionship and reassurance

Essential requirements

Kindness, patience and good communication skills

Ability to stay calm and supportive when the client feels overwhelmed

Full driving licence, access to a vehicle + business cover

Relevant Training/Qualifications

Proof of self-employment in the UK, insurance & DBS check

Data Protection and Confidentiality – follows UK GDPR regulations

Female PA required

Experience working with young adults on the autistic spectrum is beneficial but not essential
