A young man in the Pendeen area is looking for 7 hours support a week to aid him in gaining and maintaining his independence. A lover constructing Lego, shopping with lists and dump runs (ensuring that everything is put in the correct bin!). The client has epilepsy, and while most of his seizures during the night, 2 or 3 will be during the daytime and this is managed. In addition, the client suffers from Early Learning Delay, OCD, Demand Avoidance and is on the pathway to be diagnosed with an ASD.
He would love some support to get out and about, look for new volunteering opportunities, particularly with the Fire Service, meet up with some like-minded individuals, go bowling and generally have fun. He has 5 cats at home so someone who likes them would be advantageous! Further to this, the successful PA will be kind, empathetic and patient, with a male preferred but not essential.
