A new opportunity for a kind, considerate and experienced PA to support a gentleman and his mother-in-law in their home. The gentleman has Parkinsons and Lewy-Body Dementia, and the lady is chair bound. They are looking for support a few days a week while the gentleman’s wife is at work.

Main duties
Your duties would be to ensure some light domestic tasks are completed, e.g.to include cleaning,/ironing. The clients have adequate food and drink, ensuring that the gentleman is reminded to use the facilities and the lady is assisted to use the commode. Observe that medication has been taken at required times. The gentleman is a former paramedic with a keen interest in sport, particularly cricket, football and rugby, so someone who can discuss this is an advantage but not necessary! The lady has been described as able to “talk the hind leg off a donkey”, and at 94 is still very bright, so no worries there! The clients have a lovely 8-year-old black Lab, and he would need a short walk a day.

Great communication skills
Flexibility & adaptability to adapt to changing demands or unexpected situations
Full driving licence, access to a vehicle + business cover (if applicable)
Relevant Training/Qualifications
Proof of self-employment in the UK, insurance & DBS check
