Description
A wonderful lady in the Penzance area is looking for support through the week from a skilled, PA who can work in a positive, person-centred way. The client is a great lover of socialising, getting out and about, playing the piano and even writing their own music.
Support is required to ensure that the lady is ready for the day, has nutritious and delicious meals ready for her (as well as ensuring her cats are fed!). Facilitating her to access the community, get out and meet friends and ensure her home is kept clean and tidy.
Key responsibilities
Ensure the client’s voice is heard
Accompanying the client to and from a social activity every other Saturday
Meal preparation
Shopping and other duties as appropriate
Encouragement to pursue hobbies and interests
Domestic tasks
Prompts with medication
Essential requirements
Great communication skills
Relevant Training/Qualifications
Proof of self-employment in the UK, insurance & DBS check
Flexibility & adaptability to adapt to changing demands or unexpected situations
Data Protection and Confidentiality – follows UK GDPR regulations
Full driving licence, access to a vehicle + business cover
