Personal Assistant Wanted – Fun, Friendly, and Energetic!
I used to be very active and worked as a professional dog walker. I still love animals, creative activities, and I’ve always enjoyed the theatre and cinema, even though my confidence and energy aren’t quite what they used to be.
I also want to be open from the start: things have been really challenging for me recently, and my physical and mental health have changed a lot. I’m still adjusting to new diagnoses, reduced mobility, and the loss of independence I used to have. On tougher days I might come across as a bit direct or overwhelmed, but it’s never personal — it’s just part of what I’m navigating right now.
Despite everything, I’m really committed to making progress. I’m looking for a PA who is patient, steady, and understanding — someone who can support me as I rebuild routines and regain a sense of stability at my own pace.
Key responsibilities
Collecting and prompting daily medication
Meal preparation and reminders
Light household tasks
Supporting daily routines and offering calm encouragement
Adapting tasks based on daily needs
Essential requirements
Reliable, patient, and non‑judgemental
Calm under pressure and able to support someone with fluctuating health
Good communicator, especially with direct communication styles
Able to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality
Understanding, grounded, and comfortable working with someone rebuilding confidence and independence
Eligibility to work in the UK & DBS check (if employed, DBS can be provided for free)
References and standard training
Proof of self-employment in the UK, insurance & DBS check (if self-employed)
Full driving licence, access to a vehicle + business cover
