Description
I am looking for a friendly, reliable PA to support me with getting out and about and making the most of my hobbies and interests. I am a full-time wheelchair user and I also experience chronic pain and fatigue, so I need someone who understands the importance of allowing time to rest and recover. I do not currently need support with personal care, but I would appreciate help around the house, mobility support and companionship when going to places such as shops, cafés, country walks, sporting activities, craft events and social activities. I am an adventurous person and love trying new things. I’m also passionate about horses, animals, gardening and being creative, including baking, woodwork, embroidery, macramé and making miniature furniture. I have a dog, chickens and a guinea pig, so a genuine love of animals is essential. I’m able to drive, and I’m looking for someone enthusiastic who can support me to enjoy an active, varied and independent lifestyle.
Key responsibilities
General household support (cleaning, laundry, meal preparation)
Encouragement with daily activities
Support with communication when required
Transport and support to access the community
No personal care is required
Essential requirements
Be self-employed
Hold a full, clean UK driving licence
Hold a current Enhanced DBS
Have public liability insurance
Have a Unique Taxpayer Reference (UTR) from HMRC
