Description
A lady living in a quiet cottage, managing chronic pain and fatigue while raising three children, caring for animals, and maintaining a home is looking for a reliable, kind, and practical person to support her with day-to-day tasks including meal preparation (batch cooking and fresh meals), general cleaning, laundry, and keeping the garden and outdoor spaces tidy. Some personal care support is also needed at times, such as encouragement with basic self-care and occasional help with showering or hair care, as well as assistance with tasks like emptying a commode. The role requires understanding, patience, and a respectful approach to helping me maintain a safe, stable, and nurturing home for my children.
Key responsibilities
General household support (cleaning, laundry, meal preparation)
Occasional light gardening
Transport and support to access the community
Prompting with personal care
Essential requirements
Be self-employed
Hold a full, clean UK driving licence
Have access to a roadworthy vehicle
Hold a current Enhanced DBS
Have public liability insurance
Have a Unique Taxpayer Reference (UTR) from HMRC
