A young man in the Pendeen area is looking for 7 hours support a week to aid him in gaining and maintaining his independence. A lover constructing Lego, shopping with lists and dump runs (ensuring that everything is put in the correct bin!). The client has epilepsy, and while most of his seizures during the night, 2 or 3 will be during the daytime and this is managed. In addition, the client suffers from Early Learning Delay, OCD, Demand Avoidance and is on the pathway to be diagnosed with an ASD.

Personal Assistant – St Newlyn East – (REC-143)

A wonderful lady in the Newquay area is looking for some short-term cover for a member of her existing PA team. The successful applicant would be female, with plenty of experience with supporting individuals in their own home. The client is looking for support with personal care, all aspects of domestic support, whish will include meal preparation. As the client has a restricted diet, someone who is proficient at cooking from scratch would be appreciated.

The client can move around their home using a wheelchair and access their garden to a limited amount but would really love some support to get out and about. Your first task will be to assist the client in sorting through these items and ensuring that those that should stay, do stay, and those that can go, do go!

A lady in Menheniot is looking for a dedicated and reliable Personal Assistant to assist her with household tasks and general support. You will be joining an existing team of PAs, with opportunities for overtime to cover holidays and sickness. The client is a lover of arts and crafts, listening to music and watching films. They are looking for support in getting out and about, accessing the community and getting involved in activities out of the house. The ideal candidate will be female, with a calm and patient approach and have flexibility around working times and hours.
