Description
An opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and reliable Personal Assistant to support a lady and her husband living in Blisland near Bodmin. The role includes giving her husband some respite by assisting her to walk to the bathroom/toileting, getting out to enjoy the garden, making her some lunch, engaging in conversation and assisting with some domestic chores, like dusting. A PA who has experience with dementia would be ideal, due to the ladies’ condition. It would be great if the suitable PA could also provide short notice cover, now and again. So, her husband could get out to fly his paraglider, this would also be a full day.
Essential requirements
Applicants must:
Be self-employed
Hold a current Enhanced DBS (or willing to get one)
Hold the relevant insurance
Due to the location of the client in Blisland near Bodmin. It would be desirable to hold a full driving license and have access to their own roadworthy vehicle to get to the client’s location.
Terms:
This role requests a self-employed person to provide services directly to the client. You will be paid by them and not our organisation.
