Description

A kind, compassionate, and dependable Personal Assistant is required to join two existing PA’s, forming a small team of three supporting a gentleman living in the Torpoint area. This role focuses on providing companionship, reassurance, and a consistent supportive presence at home while his primary carer takes a well-deserved break.

The gentleman lives with dementia and benefits greatly from having calm, patient individuals around him to help maintain his safety, comfort, and wellbeing. He is a passionate music enthusiast with an extensive collection of LPs and CDs, and he enjoys spending time completing puzzles, particularly jigsaws.

Personal attributes and experience

Kind, patient, and compassionate approach

Reliable and able to provide calm, reassuring support

Experience supporting individuals with dementia (preferred)

Good communication skills and ability to offer meaningful companionship

Proof of self-employment in the UK, insurance & DBS check
