A lovely young man in the St Austell area is looking for some PA support on his days off from college. Diagnosed with Klinefelter syndrome, the client finds it difficult to read and understand situations and emotions, so someone with patience and empathy is a must. The client has indicated that he would prefer to work with a male PA is possible.

12 hours per week

Mondays and Fridays (Potentially Tues and Weds afternoon)

Support required

The client is after some support with learning new skills such as budgeting, using public transport, cooking and shopping. He would love to be able to get out and about but isn’t too sure of what he wants to do but is open to ideas!

Encouragement to pursue hobbies and interests

Accompanying and assisting in the community

Providing emotional supportand assisting in the community

Essential requirements

Great communication skills

Flexibility & adaptability to adapt to changing demands or unexpected situations

Full driving licence, access to a vehicle + business cover

Relevant Training/Qualifications

Proof of self-employment in the UK, insurance & DBS check

Data Protection and Confidentiality – follows UK GDPR regulations
