Self-Employed Personal Assistant – Truro – (REC-472)

I am a 42-year-old woman living with physical health conditions, chronic pain, and some mental health difficulties, and I am looking for a friendly, caring, and reliable Personal Assistant to support me in my day-to-day life. The role involves supporting me with light household tasks, laundry, medication prompting, helping with personal care, meal preparation, attending appointments, collecting prescriptions, and helping to organise my home.
I also experience mental health challenges, including hearing voices, which can sometimes be distressing and require reassurance and emotional support. I may experience beliefs and anxieties that affect my wellbeing, so I am looking for someone who is patient, understanding, calm, and non-judgemental. When I am feeling well enough, I enjoy trips to the beach, garden centres, shops, and spending time with family. I do have a little dog so I need someone who is pet friendly.
This role would suit someone who is compassionate, patient, organised, and able to provide both practical support and companionship.

With the children in school full-time, I am looking for someone to help me maintain a calm, structured, and well-functioning home, providing practical support with household organisation and day-to-day tasks.
