A lovely gentleman in the Helston/Lizard area is seeking support from a personal assistant. Your role will be to support this gentleman with various aspects of his daily living, promoting independence where possible, but there to assist if required. These tasks include, but not limited to, assisting with personal care, meal prep, shopping, companionship and more.

Schedule: Flexible cover throughout the week, to be negotiated with family
Self-employed
Support required
Provide companionship and great conversation to enhance the quality of life
Supervising mobility
Assist with personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing duties
General support around the home including cleaning, laundry, meal preparation and shopping, as needed
Help with making and attending appointments
Help with making and Occasionally drive client to appointments or social activities appointments
Essential requirements
Previous experience in the field of care is desirable but not essential
First Aid/nursing experience is preferred
Well organised and able to work on own initiative
Have a bright ‘can do’ attitude and caring, honest, trustworthy nature
English speaking/good conversational skills
Own transport required due to location and a valid driving licence is preferred for transporting client when necessary
Non - smoking preferred
DBS checked & public liability insurance
Must be self-employed
Eligibility to work in the UK
