Description
Friendly and reliable lunchtime PA support for an older adult living with vascular dementia. The role supports comfort, dignity and wellbeing within a familiar home environment, encouraging personal care, good hygiene and nutritional intake. A calm, patient approach is essential, along with consistency in visit times to help maintain a healthy daily routine and provide reassurance.

Key responsibilities
Encourage changing of continence wear and safe disposal
Check and clean toilet if needed, following hygiene procedures
Support and encourage lunch and fluid intake
Prepare a hot meal for lunch (Wilshire Farm Foods)
Place fresh water beside the chair and a hot drink
Provide reassurance, conversation and encouragement
Essential requirements
Great communication skills
Relevant Training/Qualifications
Proof of self-employment in the UK, insurance & DBS check
Flexibility & adaptability to adapt to changing demands or unexpected situations
Data Protection and Confidentiality – follows UK GDPR regulations
