An opportunity has arisen to support a lovely lady in the Tintagel area for 5 hours a week. The client is looking for someone who is experienced, kind and empathetic to support her to access the community, complete memory games and look through photo albums.
The client would need to use the PA’s vehicle to attend a local memory café or local places of interest.

Key responsibilities
Supporting to attend Memory Café
Support with small meal preparation and prompting with fluid intake
Reassurance and companionship
Light household tasks
Observe and report changes in cognition and behaviour
Work Schedule
Monday - Sunday
Monday – Friday: 7 – 9am and 5 – 7pm
Saturday: 7 – 9am 4 – 8pm
Sunday: 8 – 10am 4 – 8pm
Essential requirements
Dementia experience
Great communication skills
Eligibility to work in the UK
Flexibility & adaptability to adapt to changing demands or unexpected situations
DBS Check, references and standard training (can be provided free)
Full driving licence, access to a vehicle + business cover (if applicable)
Relevant Training/Qualifications
Proof of self-employment in the UK, insurance & DBS check (if self-employed)
